Allison Riddle, CLD, CPD

Owner - Labor & Postpartum Doula

  • "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Allison! She brought such a calm, nurturing, and reassuring presence to our home. Those early weeks after bringing a baby home can feel overwhelming, but she helped turn that time into one of peace, confidence, and healing. She not only cared for our baby with such gentleness and skill, but she also cared for me, reminding me to rest, eat, and assisting in navigating the emotions, and mental toll of postpartum. She truly made me feel completely supported whether through support with our girl or just a needed conversation. Allison is extremely knowledgeable about newborn care and postpartum recovery, but also just genuinely compassionate. Thanks to her, I was able to recover well, and feel confident stepping into mothering three. She took so much weight of my shoulders through her work. If you’re considering hiring a postpartum doula, you won’t find someone better than Allison. She’s a true gift during the beauty, vulnerable and hard days of postpartum."

  • "Allison was a calm, confident, and consistent presence throughout my pregnancy, labor and delivery journey. Because this was my first pregnancy, I knew there was so much I didn't know on what to expect and how to prepare. I was so grateful for the way she assisted me in developing my birth preferences, and then following through by serving as an advocate of them when I was finally in labor. When it was go-time, Allison was incredible in coaching my husband on how to offer me support. She helped me make hard decisions that honored my preferences and needs when things were not going as planned. She kept such a positive and hopeful attitude, helping create a peaceful birth atmosphere that I so deeply desired. Allison was so supportive from start to finish - even into post- partum! I am SO glad I hired her to be apart of my birth team!"

  • "After a less than desirable birthing experience with my first child, I went into this pregnancy knowing how important it was to have someone truly in my corner—someone who would support me, advocate for me, and help me have the experience I had been hoping for. Finding Allison was such a blessing. From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, heard, and understood. She held space for my fears from my first birth while helping me rebuild confidence and trust in my body again. That alone meant more to me than I can put into words. During labor and delivery, her presence was everything. She brought a sense of calm and grounding into the room that I didn’t even realize I needed. When things felt overwhelming, she helped center me. When I doubted myself, she reminded me of my strength. I never felt alone—not for a second. Because of her, I was able to have a completely different experience this time—one where I felt empowered, supported, and truly cared for. And even after birth, she didn’t just disappear. She continued to check in, to support me, and to make sure I was okay during such a tender and vulnerable time. I can say with my whole heart that my birth experience was better because of Allison. I will forever be grateful for the way she showed up for me during one of the most important moments of my life."

  • "I met Allison just eight days before baby arrived at 39+3. I reached out because as a first-time mom, I was feeling anxious about the healthcare system and felt the need for a third-party advocate in the room. Allison provided this and so much more! Her 11th-hour package was perfect for our situation. Quite literally 24 hours after our first and only prenatal appointment, I was in early labor. When I texted her at 4am concerned by a symptom, she assured me this was normal and to get some rest. Her experience and knowledge put both me and my husband at ease during those moments of uncertainty. The next night, she advised us when it was appropriate to go to the hospital to avoid extended stay in triage. Once in labor & delivery, she recognized when we needed anything from more socks to nitrous oxide to a position change and worked with the nurse team to get it done. This allowed my husband and me to stay present in the labor and undistracted by managing practical needs. In the fog of labor, she was a calm, professional, experienced helping hand. I do not believe I could have made it through unmedicated without her suggestions for new strategies & coping mechanisms right when I needed them. When all was said and done, I felt we had gained a true friend and partner in the process. A Doula’s support is something you truly don’t know you need until you have it; a lot of times you hear that the husband or partner should be playing this role of intermediary and advocate. But when the time came, I wanted my husband by my side, fully present & helping me work through every contraction - not calling a nurse, stepping into the waiting room to update family, or (the worst) googling something scary in the middle or labor! For us, that extra support person made all the difference. We will definitely be coming back to Allison next time around (and not in the 11th hour!)."

Monica Piton, CLD, CPD

Labor Doula & Postpartum Doula

I first met Monica in January 2025 at a local chiropractic office. She was weeks away from delivering her second baby. It was through walking alongside her during those last few weeks of pregnancy and attending her birth that we grew in friendship and discussed our dreams within the birth world. Her dreams aligned with my why in this work and I knew I named this business “Collective Motherhood” for a reason. It was my honor to bring Monica into this Collective as a birth & postpartum doula as we serve women alongside each other.

  • "I was paired with Monica as a backup Doula, and my experience was nothing short of superior service. Monica had professional response times, provided thorough explanations, and was very personable. I didn't meet her in person until the day I delivered but I already felt comfortable upon meeting her. She beat me to the hospital and provided a heads up of my arrival to the medical staff. She provided great conversation while the labor pain was bearable and was a great support when labor felt impossible to continue. She was a great advocate for me and was responsive to all of my needs. I hope to have the privilege of hiring her again in the future. Thank you Monica!'

  • "I highly recommend Monica! She took the time to sit with me for several hours to help me create my birth preferences and prepare for labor. More importantly, she listened to my fears and anxieties without judgment, validated how I was feeling, and provided thoughtful education and practical solutions that helped me feel so much more confident. Monica is incredibly kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. After our meeting, I finally felt at peace and got my first good night’s sleep in a while. I’m so grateful for her support and would recommend her to any expecting mom looking for a compassionate and empowering doula."

  • "Monica was so helpful with our second birth! I had a quick natural birth with my first daughter and was planning the same for our second. Monica was so easy to be comfortable with from the first time meeting her. She advocated for us the whole labor and was such a huge help with changing positions to dilate as well as with keeping me hydrated. I don't think I would have been able to stay focused if it wasn't for her constant encouragement even when I felt like I was losing it. She was always thinking ahead and communicating with the staff clearly. We were able to do just what we wanted! After our daughter was born Monica helped greatly with my care and even moving rooms, staying with us until we felt like we were settled. I could not recommend Monica more!"

  • "Monica was incredible. The two days leading up to my birth didn’t go according to plan, and I felt discouraged, but she helped me understand the medical jargon, reminded me of my rights and preferences, and empowered me to make informed decisions. During labor, she was a calm, steady presence — guiding positions, coaching my husband on counter pressure, offering comfort measures like a cool peppermint cloth during transition, and reassuring me that I was doing exactly what I needed to bring my baby into the world. Because of Monica and my birth team, I was able to have the unmedicated birth I hoped for despite high blood pressure. It was calm, peaceful, and redemptive. I’m so grateful for her support."
