Our Doulas
Meet AllisonHello, and welcome! I’m Allison Riddle, the owner of Collective Motherhood. I’m a passionate birth & postpartum doula, Epidoula & I provide lactation support & educational services. I support moms in Lexington, KY and surrounding counties! I’m dedicated to empowering women to embrace their birth experiences fully.
I have three babies of my own & my first birth turned into an unexpected emergency c-section, which really made me advocate for myself during my second pregnancy and third as well. I was able to achieve a successful VBAC and then went on to have an unmedicated VBAC with my third. It was through those experiences that gave me the passion & desire to help other mom’s achieve the birth that they so long for.
By providing comprehensive education and support, I help you better understand your options and make informed decisions. My goal is to ensure that you are an active participant in your birth experience, along with walking alongside you during your prenatal & postpartum periods.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Allison! She brought such a calm, nurturing, and reassuring presence to our home. Those early weeks after bringing a baby home can feel overwhelming, but she helped turn that time into one of peace, confidence, and healing. She not only cared for our baby with such gentleness and skill, but she also cared for me, reminding me to rest, eat, and assisting in navigating the emotions, and mental toll of postpartum. She truly made me feel completely supported whether through support with our girl or just a needed conversation. Allison is extremely knowledgeable about newborn care and postpartum recovery, but also just genuinely compassionate. Thanks to her, I was able to recover well, and feel confident stepping into mothering three. She took so much weight of my shoulders through her work.
If you’re considering hiring a postpartum doula, you won’t find someone better than Allison. She’s a true gift during the beauty, vulnerable and hard days of postpartum.”
