COLLECTIVE MOTHERHOOD OFFERINGS

Prenatal Support

Expecting a baby is such a sacred & exciting time. Getting to walk alongside this season with you is such a joy and there’s so much more to it than just eating the right foods and getting a nursery ready. It’s important that a mom feels empowered & confident throughout pregnancy as she prepares for birth and postpartum.

Postnatal Support

Postpartum is a big adjustment on mom, but can also be a big adjustment for families. The postpartum period can get overlooked in today’s society and not be honored the way it should. The most common nesting time is a 40 days long. That can be hard for families with multiple children or and/or lack of support and that is how a postpartum doula can be of assistance. Doula care is rooted in knowing how to care for mom and their families during this time.

“So thankful we made the decision to use collective motherhood. Allison was a silent guardian angel in the delivery room. Helping my husband know how to best help me while she juggled keeping the nurses informed and minimized interruptions during labor. When I needed her directly she always seemed to know and was right there helping me choose new positions to get baby out quickly and smoothly. Truly had my perfect birth thanks to Allison.”

“I went into labor 5 weeks early, and I was absolutely terrified. Nothing was happening the way I expected, and all I wanted was to avoid another C-section. Monica dropped everything to be with me — no hesitation, no questions, just pure support. From the moment she arrived, she became my anchor.

She talked me through every option, every decision, every scary moment. She made sure I understood what was happening and helped me feel grounded when I felt overwhelmed. Even when it became clear that we had to go ahead with another C-section, she never left my side — emotionally or physically. She reassured me, advocated for me, and helped me feel confident in the choices we were making, even when they were hard.”

“Even though I don’t live close enough for Allison to be there during my labor and delivery, I’m so glad I still got to work with her while putting together my birth plan. As a first-time mom, I really wanted to feel as prepared as possible—and Allison helped me feel exactly that. She answered all my questions, walked me through every detail, and made sure my plan covered everything I needed. I seriously can’t recommend her enough!”

“Allison was amazing during our baby's birth this last week! We are so happy we picked her and thankful she was along with us for our induction. Would highly recommend her to first time moms and those looking for expert support before/during/after birth!”

“I cannot recommend Monica enough. As a first-time mom facing an induction, I was terrified. I’m a planner and a bit of a control-freak, and I quickly realized how unprepared I was for what an induction truly looked like. The medical side doesn’t always explain options clearly—but Monica did.

Before birth, she came to my home, drank coffee with me, loved on my dog, and walked me through every step with patience and kindness. She answered every question, never rushed me, and created a clear list of choices I could take with me to the hospital. For the first time, I felt informed instead of afraid.”
